Welcome to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Energy & Water Management Program website.  This site is an initiative of the Office of Asset Enterprise Management (OAEM) and the Energy, Environment, & Fleet (EEF) Program Service.  In fulfilling VA’s commitment to care for our Nation’s Veterans and their families, we also strive to ensure a healthy and sustainable environment for current and future generations.

The Energy & Water Management Program focuses on a variety of aspects that help VA facilities become more energy efficient and sustainable.

Installing exhaust fans in Ann Arbor, MI VA Energy Savings Performance Contracting — VA partners with private sector companies and utilities to install energy and water conservation measures.  VA achieves infrastructure upgrades, cost savings and reduced energy use.
 
Fort Bliss National Cemetery VA Energy and Water Management Program:  Energy and Water Efficiency — Focuses on improving the energy efficiency of VA facilities by investing in energy and water conservation measures, along with improving commodity purchasing and operations and maintenance practices.
